Chris Coulter has been working in the music industry as a producer, mix engineer and mastering engineer since 2007. In that time he has worked with over 300 artists including Arcane Roots, Jamie Lenman, Arctic Lake, A Plastic Rose, Sun Arcana, Chanti Town, EMP!RE, Idles, Welcome The Howling Tones (ex-Hundred Reasons).

His passion for music and sound started whilst playing guitar as a child. Inspired, he studied 'Music Production' at the internationally acclaimed 'Academy Of Contemporary Music' in Guildford and later gained a BA (Hons) Degree in 'Music Technology'.

Not only working on his own productions Chris has also worked on projects with notable producers that include Dan Austin, Adrian Bushby, Rupert Christie, Ade Fenton, Mike Fraser, Sean Genockey, Scott Harding, Dave Schiffman, Space & Adam Noble.

Career highlights include Producing and Mixing Arcane Roots - Melancholia Hymns for Easy Life Records and Sony Music. The album gained lots of BBC Radio One airplay with two of the singles being featured as Annie Mac's 'Hottest Record In The World'. The album reached number 6 in the Official UK Rock Chart. He was also an engineer on the 2010 Classical Brits NS&I Album Of The Year ‘Only Men Aloud’ and also on the Top 10 album from Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends.

Chris has an excellent rapport with all of his clients and builds long-standing relationships. He understands that to produce the best possible records the artists need to feel relaxed and at home in the studio for their creativity to flow.
