Waves Sibilance for guitar squeak removal

When recording clean or acoustic guitars there is sometimes the unavoidable issue of the strings squeaking. Sometimes it can add to the performance and vibe but more often than not it is a distraction from the song or music.

Removing these harsh sounds can be done via automating the volume or sometimes with EQ. Another trick is to use a de-esser; I have many de-essers in my plugin list but none of them can reduce the squeaks from guitar recordings as well as Sibilance can from Waves, especially on acoustic guitars!
